Creamed Spinach

  1. Finely dice the red onions.
  2. Mince the garlic.
  3. Place a full stick of butter into a pan on medium heat, wait until melted.
  4. Sprinkle flour onto the butter, whisking for about 5 minutes.
  5. Once the mixture begins to brown, add in the onions and garlic. Stir for 1 minute.
  6. Pour in milk and continue stirring occasionally for about 5 minutes.
  7. As you stir, in a separate pot, place in a few tablespoons of butter until melted.
  8. Add in spinach slowly, stirring.
  9. Stop stirring spinach once it has wilted.
  10. Spoon spinach into the cream sauce, stirring as you add it in.
  11. Enjoy!
