Jalapeño Poppers

  • 12 jalapeño peppers
  • 6 oz cream cheese, softened
    1 tsp garlic powder
  • 4 oz sharp cheddar, shredded
  • 2 tbap chives, finely chopped
  • ¼ cup Panko bread crumbs
  • 1 tbsp butter, melted
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F.

  2. Cut the jalapeños in half lengthwise. Using a small spoon, scoop out the seeds and the core.

  3. In a bowl mix cream cheese, garlic powder, cheddar cheese and chives.

  4. In a separate bowl, combine Panko crumbs and melted butter.

  5. Fill jalapeños with the cheese mixture and sprinkle the crumbs.

  6. Place on a baking pan and bake 18-22 minutes or until golden.
