Keto Hazelnut Lace Waffles

  • 1 cup almond or hazelnut flour
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 Tablespoons hazelnut oil
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • Pinch Himalayan salt
  • Additional equipment: waffle iron
  1.  Heat up your waffle iron.
  2. Place your dry ingredients into a medium mixing bowl and whisk to combine well.
  3. Add the eggs, oil, and almond milk and whisk again until smooth.
  4. Once your waffle iron is ready, pour in the amount of batter recommended by the product instructions. For my Bialetti Belgian waffle iron, this is about ⅔ cup of batter. This will result in 3 full Belgian waffles, and half of one is a serving.
  5. Cook until the ready light comes back on.
  6. Remove gently with a fork.
  7. Repeat process until all of the batter is cooked.
  8. Garnish as desired and enjoy!
