Lemon Bars

 INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 white sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups white sugar
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 lemons, juiced
  • 4 eggs
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

  2. In a medium-sized bowl, mix together butter, 2 cups flour, and 1/2 cup sugar. Once mixed, press into an ungreased 9x13 inch pan.

  3. Bake for 15-20 mins or until firm and golden.

  4. In another bowl, whisk together 1 1/2 sugar and 1/4 flour. Add in lemons and eggs. Continue whisking.

  5. Pour mixture over the baked crust.

  6. Bake another 20 mins in preheated oven.
