  • 1/3 lb basil
  • 2 heads of garlic
  • juice from 1 small lemon (lemon is a preservative which keeps the pesto green)
  • salt and pepper to taste
  1. Combine all the ingredients together.
  2. Pulse it until the mixture is smooth and pasty.
  3. After mixture is smooth and texture is to your liking, put it in a mason jar, or any jar you have, and put it in the fridge.
