Product Description: Shumai (燒賣) are steamed pork dumplings that are perennial favorites at dim sum. Siu mai is the Cantonese pronunciation. Cantonese-style siu mai are the version that most people are familiar with. They’re round and the filling is wrapped in circular dumpling skins. The filling consists of pork, shrimp, ginger, shiitake mushrooms, scallions, wood ear, and water chestnuts.
How to prepare: Line a steamer with perforated parchment paper liners. On high heat, bring the steamer water to a rolling boil. Cover and steam until fully cooked through for 13-15 minutes.
